News API: Connecting your account

This article demonstrates how to establish a connection between News API and Quickwork.

• News API account

To connect your News API account with Quickwork, follow these steps:

1. Go to Quickwork, click on the Simple Action button under the Steps section, and choose the News API app from the Apps list. There are no triggers for this app.
2. Choose an action of your choice.
3. Click on the Link an account button to establish a new connection.
4. The Connect to News API window will pop up containing the API key fields:
   
   
   
   
5. Log in to your News API account. Your API key will be displayed on the screen under the API key heading. Copy the credentials:
   
   
   
   
6. Now paste the copied credentials in the Connect to News API window:
   
   
   
   
7. Now, click the Link account button. Your News API account will get connected successfully.
