DEV: Connecting your account

This article demonstrates how to establish a connection between DEV and Quickwork.

Time required: 5 minutes

• DEV account

To connect your DEV account with Quickwork, follow these steps:

1. Go to Quickwork, click the Simple Action button, and choose the DEV app from the Apps list. There are no triggers for this app.
2. Choose an action of your choice.
3. Click on the Link an account button to establish a new connection.
4. The Connect to DEV window will pop up containing the API key field:
   
   
   
   
5. To get the API key, log in to your DEV account. Click on your profile icon on the top-right corner of the screen and select the Settings option. Then click on the Account option from the left panel:
   
   
   
   
6. Now, scroll down to the DEV Community API Keys section, enter a suitable name for the API key and click on Generate API Key button:
   
   
   
   
7. Copy the API key displayed on the screen:
   
   
   
   
8. Now paste the copied key in the respective field of the Connect to DEV window:
   
   
   
   
9. Now, click the Link account button. Your DEV account will get connected successfully.
