Financial Modeling Prep: Connecting your account

This article demonstrates how to establish a connection between Financial Modeling Prep and Quickwork.

• Financial Modeling Prep account

To connect your Financial Modeling Prep account with Quickwork, follow these steps:

1. Go to Quickwork, click on the Simple Action button under the Steps section, and choose the Financial Modeling Prep app from the Apps list. There are no triggers for this app.
2. Choose an action of your choice.
3. Click on the Link an account button to establish a new connection.
4. The Connect to Financial Modeling Prep window will pop up containing the API key field:
   
   
   
   
5. To get the API key, log in to your Financial Modelling Prep account. Click on the DASHBOARD button in the top header menu. Your API key will be displayed on the screen. Copy the API key:
   
   
   
   
6. Now paste the copied credentials in the Connect to Financial Modeling Prep window:
   
   
   
   
7. Now, click the Link account button. Your Financial Modeling Prep account will get connected successfully.
